Description
Worm gruntin'? Simply drive a wooden stake, or "Stob", into the ground, rub the stake with a Roopin Iron to make it vibrate, and nearby agitated earthworms come to the surface. The ancient worm gathering process has been turned into a competition in the Florida Panhandle town of Sopchoppy, proclaimed to be the worm gruntin' capital of the world. The Annual Worm Gruntin’ Festival is a full day of gruntin’ contests, food, live music, and of course the Grunters’ Ball.
