Thirty-seven cars were built and sold from the Tucker factory, 13 completed after the automaker shut its doors, and one built from parts decades later – accounting for a total of 51. This Tucker is number 52. It was assembled of mostly original parts collected from the 1950 bankruptcy auction and other sources, but never completed until 2014 after the collection of parts went through five or six potential builder/restorers. This final assembled Tucker – #5052 – sold in 2019 for $990,000. The record price for a Tucker, #5008, is $2,915,000.
